1. Overview
Sliding valve type directional valve is usually used in hydraulic systems with hydraulic oil as the medium. The directional valve is used to control the direction of fluid flow, thereby controlling the direction of movement of the actuator (hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motor). This type of directional valve is designed for single unit installation, characterized by balanced internal leakage, therefore, there is no need for oil leakage ports.

Directional valves are composed of control components (slide valves including valve bodies) and directly installed control devices.
The valve components are all made of steel, which allows the valve body to withstand pressure shocks without leakage. The impact caused by pressure shock can sometimes be observed in the casting of valve bodies after long-term use, manifested in the formation and transformation of subtle cracks on the surface, especially when operating under full allowable pressure. In this series of directional valves, this phenomenon can be completely avoided from the beginning. The inner hole of the valve body is polished with steel. The hardened and ground valve core is polished/deburred. These measures ensure the roundness and accuracy of the geometric shape (controlling the edges to prevent wear or widening), and appropriate sealing clearances ensure minimal leakage. Casting materials (molded castings of zinc and aluminum) are only used for non pressure parts, such as control mechanism housings, spring covers, base plates, etc. We can also provide manual control mechanism housings made of ductile iron, especially for use in harsh working conditions and when valves are connected in series.
