Wtrans

The Wtrans E01 measuring probe is used in combination with the Wtrans receiver, recording measured values of humidity, temperature and CO₂ via digital sensors. The measuring probe features two input ports with M12×1 connectors, to which sensors can be connected and detected in any combination through plug-and-play functionality. Other measurement parameters can be derived from the measured values. Up to four measured values can be recorded, and the data is transmitted to the receiver of the Wtrans measurement system via radio frequency at 868.4 MHz for real-time display. The output supports both digital and analog signal formats.


The device has two power supply options: an external DC power supply (18-30 volts) and four built-in AA batteries. When using the recommended battery model, the device can achieve a service life of up to one year with a single sensor under default settings.


The electronic components of the measuring probe, including the backlit LCD display and operation keys, are enclosed in a wall-mounted housing with an IP65 protection rating. The probe operates within a temperature range of -30 to +80°C, with attention required to the temperature difference between sensors and lithium batteries. Users can configure the probe via the USB interface or operation keys.

### Measurement Interval
- Humidity and Temperature Sensor: 5 to 3600 seconds (default: 90 seconds)
- Carbon Monoxide Sensor 2: 30 to 3600 seconds (default: 1200 seconds)
- Pt1000 RTD Temperature Probe: 1 to 3600 seconds (default: 15 seconds)


### Measurement Circuit Monitoring
Behavior upon probe breakage or short circuit:
- Humidity and Temperature Sensor: Identified as a fault, error message (Err) displayed on the LCD screen
- Carbon Monoxide Sensor 2: Identified as a fault, error message (Err) displayed on the LCD screen
- Pt1000 RTD Temperature Probe: Identified as a fault, error message (Err) displayed on the LCD screen; out-of-range values will be displayed if plug-and-play is disabled


### Output (Wireless Transmission)
- Transmitter Identification (Transmitter ID): 5-digit factory preset ID; 4-digit ID configurable according to customer specifications
- Transmission Interval: 1 to 3600 seconds; all measured values are transmitted at the default 15-second interval
- Output Signal: All measured values are optional. Other measurable values can be derived from existing readings and require activation on the device (additional code/accessories required). A maximum of four measured values can be displayed and transmitted to the receiver.
